2025 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING NOVEMBER 22, 2025
Greetings from the Jamaica Chess Federation (JCF)!
Notice is hereby given that the Jamaica Chess Federation (JCF) will be having its Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is scheduled to be held at 11am on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the new JCF office located in the heart of Half-Way-Tree at Oakton House, 5-7 Hagley Park Road, Kingston 11 (the same complex as Popeye's Restaurant).
This year we will elect a new National Executive Council to fill all the positions that are mentioned in one of the attached documents. Please note that all positions are now open for nominations.
After the relevant nominations are made, a new National Executive Council will be elected at the AGM to fill the positions listed below. Nominations are now open as of August 29, 2025 and close on September 30, 2025. Please note that you MUST be a fully paid-up member (in Good Standing) to be considered for nomination.

Please note that the Chairman for each of the eight (8) Committees listed below are decided at the first meeting of the National Executive Council.

We urge you to indicate your nominees by emailing the Jamaica Chess Federation's Secretariat at jamchessfed.secretary@gmail.com on or before the deadline, September 30, 2025.
The deadline for submission of new membership application is Friday, October 24, 2025 at 12:00 midnight.

Please also note the following:
(a) The ENOS GRANT RAPID AND BLITZ TOURNAMENT will also be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the new JCF office. Further details of this event will be communicated to you at the soonest.
(b) The annual dues payment for Junior Member-$2000.00 and Adult Member is $4000.00. School Membership remains at $15,000.00.
