2017 WORLD YOUTH RAPID AND BLITZ CHAMPIONSHIPS

 

The 2017 staging of the World Youth Rapid and Blitz Championships for Boys and Girls U14, U16, U18 will take place in Greece - Crete, in Creta Maris Hotel starting October 27- to october 31, 2017. 

The event will run alongside the 1st Hersonissos Open International chess tournament  (attached) 28 October - 5 November 2017 (starting daily
at 16:00), next to the playing hall of the European Team Chess Championships 2017.

All Players playing in the world Youth Tournament may also participate in the Hersonissos Open, and if they do, the youth U14, U16 and U18 players may request bye(s) for any
(or all) of the first 3 rounds of the Open tournament. .. See details in PDF Invitation here..
