The 2026 Burger King National High School Chess Finals Set for April 16-17th

 

KINGSTON, JAMAICA — The Jamaica Chess Federation (JCF) is proud to announce the final field for the 2026 Burger King National High School Chess Championships Finals. Matches start on On April 16 and 17, 2026. At The JCF Headquarters at Oakton House,5-7 Hagley Pk Road, Whoppewhen "Sixteen elite teams will descend on Kingston to vie for the national title.

As the title sponsor for the 2026 season, Burger King Jamaica continues its landmark commitment to nurturing the strategic minds of the nation’s youth. This partnership highlights the brand's dedication to "The Crown"—supporting both academic excellence and the competitive spirit required to excel in the world's most disciplined board game.

The Elite Sixteen (Official Seed List):

The two-day tournament will determine the 2026 National High School Chess Champions.

Matches begin at 9:00 AM on April 16. The public is encouraged to follow the results as Jamaica’s brightest young minds battle for the ultimate crown.
